James Edward Nelson, Sr., 85 of Pocahontas Trail, retired electrical engineer, WWII Veteran and husband of Catherine Jean Matthews Nelson died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Georgetown Community Hopsital.



A native of Logan County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late John B. and Rosetta Hall Nelson.



Survivors besides his wife include on son, James Edward Nelson, Jr, Bryans Road, Maryland; 2 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Marie Graves and Lonnie Potter; special friends, Johnny and Jane Griffin and Ollie and Charlie Hall.



Memorial services will be 11:00AM Thursday at Johnson’s Funeral Home by Rev. Orville Griffin. No visitation.
