Obituary for Mary Reed Zumwalt

Mary Reed Zumwalt, 58, widow of Michael Wayne Zumwalt died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Central Baptist Hospital. A native of Scott County, she was the daughter of Thelma Holland Reed, Georgetown and the late Dolphus Richard Reed and was a retired employee of G.E. Corp. and a member of the Northside Christian Church. Survivors besides her mother include a son: Jason K. Gaither, Somerset, two daughters: Kimberly Zumwalt (David) Skinner and Denise Gaither, all of Georgetown, a brother: Randolph (Kathy) Reed, Lexington and two grandchildren: Andrew B. and Lauren N. Skinner. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Johnson’s Funeral Home by Rev. Scott Coburn and Bro. Tommy Simpson. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be: David Hinton, Glendil Patton, Charlie Courtney, Nathan & Steve Reed and Steve Darnaby. Visitation will be 5—8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
