James "Jimmy" Cleveland Young, 67, of Stamping Ground, formerly of Georgetown, widower of Patricia Diane Dixon Young, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at his home.

A native of Whitesburg, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Grover Cleveland Young and Ada Blair Young. Jimmy was a truck driver for over 40 years.

Survivors include 6 children, James Wayne (Cathy) Young; Lisa Jo Dawson, Cassie (Richard) VonHoven, Tony (Chanise Wildes) Alexander; Frank (Dana) Alexander and Aaron (Brittany) Young; 9 grandchildren and one brother, Clyde Prichard. He was preceded in death by a step son, Robert Alexander.

No services are scheduled at this time. Johnson's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
