Obituary for Margaret Crouse James (Crouse)

JAMES, Margaret C. (87) of Dunedin, FL, formerly of Lexington, passed away on April 21, 2015 in the care of Suncoast Hospice. She requested to be cremated and her ashes will be buried with her husband, Jim (J.Q.), who pre-deceased her in 1979. She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Tom) Chandler and Cheri (Ron) Oliver, one grandson, Brent (Stacey Reynolds) Oliver, and longtime closest friend, Sandra (Buryl) Thompson.

While in Lexington, Margaret worked as a dental assistant for both Dr. Marion Miniard and Dr. Tommy Coleman. She loved her work and approached it as she lived her life--with a ready smile, quick sense of humor, and a positive attitude for everyone. She was much loved and will be missed by many.

Margaret was a passionate Wildcat fan and her unwavering loyalty to "her Cats" endeared her to friends she made in Florida. She displayed her support for UK proudly and loved to talk about her passion given any opportunity. Florida was better for her presence, and Kentucky was less without her.

In her memory, a casual gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 3 til 5 P.M. at the Copperfield Club House, 1336 Copper Run Boulevard in Lexington.
