Mabel Louise (Hollon) Bailey Gilman, 69, passed away Sunday, September 6th, 2015. She was born September 16th, 1945 in Bourbon County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Arlie and Emma (Drake) Hollon. Mabel enjoyed listening to recordings of the Bible. She is survived by three daughters, Emma (Anthony) Best, Elizabeth (Howard Mills) Gilman and Lynn Gilman; three sons, Donald Eugene (Tracy) Bailey, Jr., John Allen (Amanda) Bailey and Tim Gilman; six grandchildren, Nina Gray, Jonathan Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Mia Best, Christian Best and Bryan Gilman; two great-grandsons, Austin Gray and Wyatt Gray; two sisters, Mary McIlvain and Dora Paul. In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Eugene Bailey, Sr. and her second husband, Eldon Leroy Gilman; two grandchildren, Ashley Best and Anthony Best, Jr.; six sisters and nine brothers. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, with graveside services to follow at Georgetown Cemetery with Rev. Todd Hudson officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Larry Bailey, Robert Bailey, Frank Bailey and Allen Butcher. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
