Dottie was always active in her community and children’s schools, and was a docent both at the Cincinnati Art Museum (and President of the Women’s Committee) and later University of Kentucky Art Museum. Upon her husband’s retirement from medicine in 1986, she and Don moved to their Georgetown, Kentucky horse farm, Werk Way Farm, where they bred and raised American Saddlebred and Standardbred horses. She greatly enjoyed her involvement with the Scott County Women’s Club. Dottie always loved to entertain and was a gracious hostess. She had great wit and charm.
