Obituary for Richard Elmer Bennett

Richard E. (Sam) Bennett, of Georgetown, KY, formerly of Middletown, OH, born on March 12, 1940, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016. He was 76 years old. Richard was a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and a Masonic Lodge in Ohio. Richard is survived by his son, Timothy Richard Bennett, of Georgetown, KY; his daughter, Tracy White of Stanton, KY, his step-daughter, Tamara Mathis of Springfield, FL, ; his brother, Kenneth Bennett of Daytona Beach, FL, and four grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carol Bennett, and two brothers, Ronald Bennett and Robert Bennett. At Richard’s request, his body was donated to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for the advancement of science. A memorial service was held at the family home in Georgetown, KY. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Hospice of the Bluegrass, or a charity of your choice.
