Obituary for Judy Faye Rose
Judy Faye Bowen Rose, 72, wife of Gerald Lee Rose, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Born in Lake City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Bailey and Irene Sharp Bowen.
Retired from Square D, she was an excellent cook, enjoyed shopping and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband of 48 years, she is survived by her son, William A. (Shelia Faye) Rose; sisters, Beverly Bowen, Jeanie (Clyde) Hooks, Pearl (Jim) Riggs, Pat Hammonds and Connie (Buddy) Tackett; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and her beloved grand-dog, Ellie Mae Rose. She was preceded in death by her brother, Al Bowen.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
