Obituary for Louise "Peggy" Offutt Brumback

Louise Offutt “Peggy” Brumback, 85, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Born in Scott County, she was the daughter of the late Jimmie T. and Rhoda Donaldson Offutt.

Retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, she was passionate about her crafts, especially crocheting, knitting and painting.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhoda Brumback Avenell; half-siblings, Jimmy, Larry and Harry Offutt, Sarah and Nada Offutt; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Joanne Jones; brothers, Willard Thomas, Marion lee and Joe Douglas Offutt; sister, Mary Elizabeth Offutt Jones; and half-sister, Joanne Bruin.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 9 at 6 PM at Northside Christian Church, conducted by Nic Skinner and Scott Coburn. Visitation will be 3 PM till service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the Peggy Brumback Memorial Fund, c/o of United Bank.
