Vera Lavonne Woods Tolliver, 80, wife of Glen Tolliver, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Born in Leslie County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ottis and Amanda Caudill Woods. Vera, “Boots” to her family and friends, loved being outdoors, especially when fishing or on a picnic, reading, and being with her family, especially her grandsons.

She married her husband Glen in June of 1956, and in addition to him, is survived by her children, Tony (Karen) Tolliver, Glasgow, Renee (Kevin) Griese, Georgetown; sister, Faye Roark; grandchildren, Dean (Beth) Tolliver, Spencer and Connor Griese; and one great grandchild, Nolan Tolliver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Fern Caldwell, Phyllis Napier, and Sue Lear.
