Obituary for Paul Mallory

Paul Mallory, 92, husband of Christine Williams Mallory, passed away, Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Born in Harrison County, he was the son of the late Tom and Willie Fields Mallory.

He was a retired Farm Manger with White Horse Acres and later retired as a night watchman with Hagyard Equine. A Kentucky Colonel, he was a member of Dry Run Baptist Church, active with Russell Cave Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

In addition to his wife of 71 years, he is survived by his daughters, Elaine (Jack) Corman, Oklahoma City, OK and Ann Throckmorton, Lexington; sisters, Virginia Mallory Hammons, Georgetown and Donna Bell Kenley, Stamping Ground, KY; as well as eight grandchildren and eight step grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Paul Mallory and granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Mallory.

A graveside service will be 10 AM Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Georgetown Cemetery. Honorary casket bearers will be Scott Mallory, Dale Mallory, Dustin Mallory, Chuck Throckmorton, Shane Hastings, Stuart Brown DVM and Sam Schalnus DVM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kentucky Children’s Hospital, 800 Rose St, Lexington, KY 40536.
