Obituary for Gina Ann Mullin (Riley)

Gina Ann Riley Mullin, 51, went to be with our heavenly father on March 17th, 2017. Gina was born January 26th, 1966 in Georgetown, Kentucky, daughter of Dwayne Riley and Shirley Brooks Fritts. Gina was a member of White Sulphur Baptist Church and had attended Cross Roads Christian Church. She was an administrative assistant for the University of Kentucky Clinic. She volunteered her time to many causes and organizations, including Scott County Project Grad. Her proudest moments were watching her girls play sports and their many accomplishments. In addition to her parents, Gina is survived by her three daughters, Morgan, Madison and Merideth whom she loved more than anything in this world; her brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Janet Riley; her sister, Kay Thompson; six nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; numerous friends and her beloved cat, Sophie. Gina was preceded in death by one niece, Nikki Childers.
Gina was an inspiration to all who have known her. Her faith and fighting spirit never wavered. Even when difficult times arose, she would say “God is good…..All the time.” There will be a Celebration of Life on Monday, March 20th from 4 pm to 7pm at White Sulphur Baptist Church, 5300 Ironworks Road in Georgetown. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Markey Cancer Center or Scott County Humane Society.
