Loraine Lyons Wilson, 91, widow of Jesse O. Wilson, passed away Wednesday, May 17th, 2017. She was born November 21st, 1925 in Scott County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Hayden V. and Bertha Bell (Ritchie) Lyons. Loraine was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lola Mae Adams; two sons, Joseph Edward Wilson and Jesse Cole (Jennifer) Wilson; four grandchildren, Brenda Sue (Bobby) Neal, Roger Alan Fairchild, Brandy Jo Fairchild and Joe Wilson, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Megan Neal, Lovelle Louise Wilson and Joseph E. Wilson, III. In addition to her parents and husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Dixon, Elsie Froman and Hazel Allene Fanning; four brothers, Sturgill Lyons, Raymond N. Lyons, Elmer D. Lyons and James B. “J.B.” Lyons. Visitation will be Friday, May 19th, from 11am until time of service at 1pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home with Pastor William Van Nunen officiating. Burial will be at The Lexington Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Wilson, Shawn Hopkins, Philip Blankenship, Roger Alan Fairchild and Joe Wilson Jr.
