Obituary for Louis John "Lou" Todora

Louis “Lou” John Todora, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday, July 21st, 2017. He was born January 27th, 1947 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, son of the late Louis J. and Mary (Antonik) Todora, Sr. Lou’s wife, children, and their spouses/partner, and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He followed his grandkids’ activities with the same dedication and loyalty as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates, as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes. To know Lou was to love him. He will be sorely missed. A Metallurgical Engineer, he enjoyed his time at Blair Strip Steel and formed solid friendships there and throughout his career in the steel industry. Lou is survived by his wife, Jane (Hite) Todora, his daughter, Christine (Martin) Eich; two sons, Brad Todora and Doug (Rebecca) Todora; his step-daughter, Courtney (Derek) Brown; his step-son, Nick (Lisa) Yamamoto; ten grandchildren, Jennifer Eich, Julia Eich, Jason Eich, Alexa Todora, Emily Todora, Addi Brown, Izzy Brown, Landon Yamamoto, Ella Yamamoto and Ensley Yamamoto; two brothers, Don (Sandra) Todora and Joe (Jean) Todora. In addition to his parents, Lou was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Kathy Todora. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 25th, from 4pm until the time of Lou’s Celebration of Life Service at 6pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed to God’s Pantry, 1685 Jaggie Fox Way, Lexington, Kentucky 40511.
