Peter “Pete” Corso, 91, passed away Tuesday, July 25th, 2017. He was born August 27th, 1925 in Piedmont, New York, son of the late Charles and Josephine (Yacapino) Corso. Pete was a member of St. John Catholic Church and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from Mason Hanger Corporation, where he was a mechanical engineer. Pete is survived by his wife, Mildred (Robinson) Corso; two daughters, Barbara (Andre) Boutte and Beverly (Far) Kari; three grandchildren, Danielle Boutte, Rika (Alisenne) Kari and Kija Kari; one great-granddaughter, Emerson Kari; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Conn and Beulah (T.J.) Reed. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Pauline Coffelt Corso and a brother-in-law, James Conn. Graveside services will be held 11:30am on Friday, July 28th at Crestlawn Cemetery with Father Linh Nguyen officiating.
