Patricia Marie James, 77, widow of William Henry James, passed away on Friday, August 18th, 2017. She was born May 18th, 1940 in Scott County, Kentucky, daughter of the late William and Georgia (White) Hughes. Patricia enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and she loved to color. She is survived by one daughter, Pam Littrell; two sons, Billy (Michelle) James and Keith James; six grandchildren, Mike Littrell, Joe (Lisa) Littrell, Austin James, Nikki James, Bethany Miller and Chris Miller; Nine great-grandchildren, Emily Littrell, Michaela Littrell, Ricky Joe Littrell, Maddux Littrell, Brooklynn Littrell, Kami James, Landon Miller, Gage Cook and Nevaeh Penn; one brother, Bill (Cheryl) Hughes; a special cousin who was like a sister to her, Bessie Morris; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Patricia was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Miller; her son-in-law, Rick Littrell; one brother, Donnie Hughes. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23rd from 11:30am until time of service at 12:30pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, followed by burial at 2:30pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy James, Keith James, David Dewes, Austin James, Timmy James, Mike Littrell, Joseph Littrell and Colton Gibson. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Kim Bell, Nurse Debbie, Chaplain Rick Snyder and Patricia’s caregiver Kim. The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1317 US HWY 62E, Cynthiana, Kentucky, 41031.
