Obituary for Aaron Michael White

Aaron Michael White, 18, passed away Thursday, September 14th, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born January 26th, 1999 in Nashville, Tennessee, son of Michael Todd and Kristin (Falwell) White. Aaron attended Western Elementary, Anne Mason Elementary and Royal Spring Middle School in Georgetown. Aaron’s obstacles in life did not define him, they sparked a calling for all to see with more open eyes, hear with more attentive ears, and to embrace life with a true sense of the blessing and gift that it is. His needs required that we think outside the box of “normal” to find ways to defeat obstacles, to say yes when we want to say no and give up, and to defy odds that seem too much to overcome. Aaron loved his family and friends. He loved giving and receiving hugs and kisses and being acknowledged for trying his very best. He enjoyed being read to, watching Lion King, patting his hand to music and eating. Aaron was fond of dogs and enjoyed the horses he rode in hippo therapy. In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his brother, Adam Falwell White; his grandparents, James and Dyrena White, Dennis and Jan Falwell; one great-grandmother, LaVerne Falwell; his aunts and uncles, John and Tracy Long, Jason and Carrie White; three cousins, Andrew Long, Reagan White and Samuel White. Visitation will be Monday, September 18th from 4 to 7pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Services will be held 11am Tuesday at First United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Joubert Syndrome Foundation, 9 Dorenfield Court, Petaluma, California, 94952 or to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1317 US Highway 62E, Cynthiana, Kentucky, 41031.
