Obituary for Carl Leonard Jordan
An avid hunter and fisherman, he was of the Methodist faith and was retired from the US Air Force, serving as an MP and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, he is survived by his children, Carl Leonard Jordan II, Georgetown and Brandi (Adam) Lyons, Frankfort; grandchildren, Dustin Ty (Audrey) Stewart, Alyssa Jane Lyons and Megan Alexis Jordan; great grandchild, Adilynn Stewart; brother, Lewis Jordan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David, Laverne, Alvin, Mitchell, Forest, Cleo, Milton, John and Keith Jordan; and sisters, Beatrice Cronk and Dorothy Hadley.
Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Thursday at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be 10:30 AM till service time. IIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
