Obituary for Carol Jean Brannock

Carol Jean (Lieburt) Brannock, 87, wife of Billy Brannock, passed away Thursday, January 4th, 2018. She was born May 20th, 1930 in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Lieburt. Carol was a member of Faith Baptist Church and had served for over thirty years as the Minister of Christian Education at Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church. Carol was the founder of the Georgetown Community Theater. In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her daughter, Leean Gillbrannock. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 9th from 4pm until time of service at 6pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Bob Fox, Sharon Felton and Amanda Langlands. Burial will be private. Honorary pallbearers will be Katherine Hlathein, Zack Bennett, Coach Bill Cronin, Dale Stowe, Roger Durr, John Blackburn, Flash Williams, Bob Barlow and Bob Davis. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Georgetown Community Theater or The Gathering Place Mission, C/O Katherine Bennett, 143 East Main Street, Georgetown, Kentucky 40324.
