Obituary for Marilyn "Fay" Bibbins

Marilyn “Fay” Bibbins, 70, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Lexington at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Union City, TN, she was the daughter of Myrtle Brockwell Greenlee, DeFuniak Springs, FL and the late Raymond Greenlee.

A former apartment manager in central Kentucky, she also worked in dispatch for the Georgetown Police Department and had a passion for helping people. She enjoyed the outdoors and being “Nanny” to her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Renee Barlow-Bibbins, Georgetown; brothers, Norman (Sharon) Greenlee and Roger Greenlee, both of Florida and Jim (Jean) Greenlee, Paris, KY; grandsons, Hayden A. Willoughby and Brynin L. Boykin; and great grandson, Ryder M. Willoughby; her special dog Maddie; as well as many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday at Johnson’s Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Chester Palmer. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jim Greenlee, Michael Greenlee, Jason Greenlee, Ryan White, Zachery Lightner and Anthony Beeler. Honorary bearers will be Hayden A. Willoughby and Brynin L. Boykin. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time on Saturday. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen, Kentucky, 207 N Upper St D, Lexington, KY 40507.
