Obituary for Agnes "Buntz" Tribble (Nichols)

Agnes “Buntz” Nichols Tribble, 83, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born June 12, 1934 in Georgetown, Kentucky, daughter of the late John K. and Susie (Thomas) Nichols. Agnes had worked for John Graves Memorial Hospital and retired from Georgetown College. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church, past member of the Housing Management Association and the One Hundred Voice Community Choir. Agnes loved being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, her family photo albums and she was an excellent cook. Agnes is survived by her husband, Ralph Tribble; her children, Tondra Tribble Grayson and Antoine (Sherry) Tribble; three grandchildren, Russell Allen, Jared Grayson and Jada Grayson; one great-granddaughter, Rue Elizabeth Allen; a special niece and nephew, Tara Clark and Jeffery Jones. In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Lee Marks; her two brothers, John Nichols and William Nichols. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, from 11am until time of service at Noon at Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Simmons, Jeff Simmons, Brian Tribble, Richard Wesley, Raynard Williams and James Happy, Jr. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Simpson Tribble, James Happy and Dewayne Peyton.
