Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of O’Neal’s passing. I worked with him at EKU. He was always a bright spot in the day when he stopped by my office, and I could count on him for a laugh. We both enjoyed telling a good story and tried to see who had the best one. I can honestly say that he was one of the nicest people I have ever known, and I am so glad I could call him my friend. I will never forget him.
Condolence: Darla, I’m so sorry for your loss. You, O’Neal, and family are in my prayers. As friend and mentor, O’Neal played a key role in the first half of my career at UK. I enjoyed his sense of humor and his warm, forthright, kind way. O’Neal’s example and wise counsel both guided and encouraged me, and I always admired his creative, bold leadership as our Department Chair and interim Dean. He touched and blessed so many, as you have also, Darla. May God's joyful love and abundant graces be continuously with both of you.
Condolence: Laura, Mike, and Brian- I am so saddened by the loss of your father. He was a wonderful, respectable, gracious man, and I will always have fond memories of him. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that he is in Heaven, with no pain or sorrow, and smiling down on you. Keep your fond memories forever in your hearts.
Condolence: “ Darla - I am so sorry. Dr. Weeks was one of my favorite professors in undergrad and graduate school. I trust you will find comfort in memories from the life you shared. ”
