Anne was a dear childhood friend of mine, and our friendship never faltered, though years might go by without much contact. I will miss her strong spirit, her laugh, just knowing she was in the world and loved me unconditionally. Anyone loved by Anne knows what I mean. Once she loved you, that was it!
