LTC William Christopher Wood, Retired, husband of Sheree McDole Wood, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018. Born in Oakland, CA, he was the son of the late Roy and Ruby Wold Wood.

An MBA graduate of Bellarmine, he was an avid outdoorsman, whether hunting, fishing or camping and enjoyed golf and tennis.

In addition to his wife of 41 years, he is survived by his children, Karaline Wood, William Winston (Jessica) Wood and Forrest Wood; sisters, Jeanine (Jack) Jacobs, Cindy (Brad) Maclean and Helma (Jerry) Clark; and grandchildren, Liam and George Wood.

Graveside services with military honors will be 10 AM Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY. A Celebration of Life to honor LTC Wood will be 11:30-3:30 Friday at the Yuko-En on the Elkhorn.
