Robert “Bob” Wade Grossl, 68, husband of Lois Spillman Grossl, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018. Born in Ashland, KY, he was the son of the late Fred and Anna Curnutte Grossl.

A retired bus driver with Scott County Public Schools, he was a member of Long Lick Baptist Church, an avid UK basketball and football fan and loved spoiling his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 35 years, he is survived by his children, Angella (Lonnie) Jones, Stamping Ground, KY, Robbie (Sunni) Grossl, Somerset, KY, Stephen (Melinda) Grossl, Bowling Green, KY and Mark (Traci) McGranahan, Frankfort, KY; sister, Anna Lucille Staley; brothers, Fred (Faith) Grossl and John Benny (Betty) Grossl; as well as 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Molly Penn and sister, Patsy Grossl.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday at Johnson’s Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Glenn Redmon. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery, Stamping Ground, KY. Visitation will be 11AM till service time Wednesday.
