Phyllis Hill (Darnell) Gregory, 82, widow of William “Bill” Gregory, passed away on Wednesday, October 24th, 2018. She was born December 9th, 1935 in Sadieville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ed and Maude Bell (Hysong) Darnell. Phyllis had worked as the office manager for Spring Haven. She is survived by her children and one daughter-in-law, Kimberly Gregory, Tracey Gregory, Denise Gregory and Kevin and Kathy Gregory; her step-children, Billie Lynn Bealer and Lisa Wright; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by one son, Daryl Keith Darnell; one step-daughter, Darlene Gregory; her siblings, Juanita Murphy, Dane Darnell, Jane Darnell and James Pete Darnell. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 29th at Jonson’s Funeral Home from 11:30am to 12:30pm, followed by graveside service at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky with Robert Smith officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Green Jr., Michael Green, Derek Gregory, Philip Gregory, Luke Gregory and Brandon Dotson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Darnell, Mike Murphy, Eddie Murphy, Dustin Green, Jamie Clifton and Roger Pemberton. There will be a celebration of Phyllis’s life at 3pm at Regeneration Church, 101 Fordland Drive, Georgetown.
