Wendy Jean Reeder, 65, wife of Charlie Reeder, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late John and Betty Fudge.

A former florist, Wendy was an RN and worked with various hospitals including Eastern State Hospital and later retired as Director of Nursing with Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. She was a member of Oxford Christian Church, enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, volunteering with her church and cooking for her church or the Gathering Place.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Andrea Burton, Lexington and Josh (Jessica) Burton, Danville; sister, Peggy Fudge, Columbia, KY; brother, Jimmy (Mary) Fudge, Lexington; grandchildren, Conner and Kendall Burton; nephew, Tony Fudge; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Johnson’s Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Chris Cash. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2018 and 12 PM till service time Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the funeral home.
