Obituary for Willie Ray Woolum

Willie Ray Woolum, 64, husband of Deborah (Smith) Woolum, passed away on Thursday, December 6th, 2018, following a brief illness. He was born November 30th, 1954 in Pineville, Kentucky, son of the late Albert and Eula (Warren) Woolum. Willie had been a coal miner for over twenty years and then worked as a mechanic with United Rentals for over twenty years. Willie was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and he loved to spend time with his family any chance he could. In addition to his wife of forty-four years, Willie is survived by his four daughters, Kim (Peanut) Brown, Krystal (Michael) Maguire, Kendra (Micheal Feeback) Woolum and Katrina (Todd) Bruno; seven grandchildren, Jordie Brown, Mynor Maguire, Parker Maguire, Jaxon Jones, Andrew Bruno, Chris Bruno and Tia Bruno; one sister, Guawana Sue (Bob) Pile; one brother, James (Bonnie) Woolum. In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Woolum. Visitation will be Saturday, December 8th from 1 to 3pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home in Georgetown. Graveside services will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to The American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 42040, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123 or to the donor’s charity of choice.
