David James “Jamie” Long, 46, passed away Sunday, February 17th, 2019. He was born January 24th, 1973 in Woodford County, Kentucky, son of Linda Bruin Long and the late David Long. Jamie was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Owenton, Kentucky. In addition to his mother, Jamie is survived by one aunt, Bettie Devers; one uncle, Charles Raymond Bruin; and several cousins. Visitation will be Friday, February 22nd from 11am until time of service at 2pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Little officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Adam King, Bobbie Bruin, William Bruin, Robert Cannon, Joe Switzer and Jackie Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Devers, Russell King, Danny Woods and David Chancery.
