Nannie B. Taylor, 71, passed away on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019. She was born June 2nd, 1947 in Georgetown, Kentucky, daughter of Sarah (Wilkins) and the late Harry Edward Taylor Sr. Nannie B. was a member of First Baptist Church and a 1966 graduate of Georgetown High School. She enjoyed knitting, crochet and quilting. Nannie B. was an activist and marched with Dr. Martin Luther King in the 1960’s. Nannie B. was like a “Mother” to everyone she met. She is survived by three sisters, Emma Wilson, Jocelyn Smith and Cathy (Walter) Young; four brothers, Harry (Ella) Taylor Jr., Russell Taylor, George (Missy) Taylor and Stephen (Mary Ann) Taylor; seven nephews; a special nephew, Aaron Taylor, who she raised like a son; and ten nieces; and a host of great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, March 9th, at Johnson’s Funeral Home from 1pm until time of Nannie B’s Celebration of Life Service at 2pm.
