Obituary for Neva Darlene Givens Oakley

Neva Darlene Givens Oakley, 75, of W. Showalter Drive, widow of Walter Eugene Oakley died Tuesday April 3, 2007 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville.



A native of Pawhuska, OK, she was the daughter of the late James Givens and Mona Braswell Powell and was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church.



Survivors include two sons, Tom Raines and Bert Oakley; 5 daughters, Kimberly Corcoran, Darla Raines, Pamela Helms, Denise Oswald and Barbara Rosen; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rachel Sanders and Betty Armas and one brother, Harry Powell.



A son, Jerry Raines, a grandchild, Christian Cliché, and a sister Ollie Thorne, preceded her in death.



Funeral services will be 11:00AM Thursday at Johnson’s Funeral Home by Rev. Kenneth D. Holden and Rev. Richard A. Weekly. Committal services will be 2:30PM Thursday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County. Memorials may be made to Gideon’s International, 2424 Pierson Dr
