Rose Marie Melfi Zalatores, 78, of Elkhorn Meadows Dr., formerly of California, widow of John Ernest Zalatores, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her home.

A native of Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late John Anthony and Veronica Blanch Archambeault Melfi. Rose was a retired nurse and member of the catholic faith.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Joani and Ricky McDonald of Georgetown; one granddaughter, Danielle Webb; one sister, Vera Rohm and four nieces, Beverly Schell, Veronica "Dolly" Ward, Sherry Varnell and Donna Johnson. She was preceded in death by a niece, Patricia Rohm.

No services of scheduled at this time. Johnson's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
