Melissa Jo Lee, 50, wife of Wince Lee, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Born in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of Randy Blake and Doris McFarland Johnson, Georgetown.

An employee of Sylvania she was dedicated to her family and enjoyed shopping, with the slogan, “why buy one when you can get two.”

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Braydon Lee, Georgetown, Matthew Tyler Blake Ritchie Lee (Emily), Connersville, Eugene Lee, Frankfort, Amelia (Mark) Drury, Lawrenceburg and Teresa (Bryan) Roberts, Versailles; grandchildren, Kevin Roberts, Pam Young, Savannah Castle, Benjamin Roberts, Kirstin Pevler, Abi Lee, Allie Roberts, Eli Lee and Harper “Peanut” Lee; great grandchildren, Charlie, Lakin and Presley Young, Mya and Madalynn Castle, Colten, Karoline and Casey Peavler. She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Blake “Little Randy” Johnson, II.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday at Johnson’s Funeral Home, conducted by Reverend Bryan Roberts. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be John Burke, Eric McFarland, Jesse McFarland, Cory McFarland, Damon Sallee, Bryan Fogle, Dustin Robinson and Tyler Lee. Honorary casket bearers will be Jason Noto, Alycc, Bailey, Laurel Brandenburg, Savannah Combs, Brett Mickey, Nathaniel Sams, Chase Sams and Lisa Haney. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
