Obituary for Yolanda "Loni" Woyak Friddle
Yolanda “Loni” Woyak Friddle, 74, widow of James “Fred” Friddle, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017.
Born in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Marie Chura Woyak, owners of Fawn Beverage. The former owner of Cherry Knoll Inn, she later spent much of her time volunteering with various schools and organizations such as the Cycling Club and Horsey 100.
She is survived by her children, Darcy (Jeff) Shepard, Georgetown, Kevin (Colby Roche) Friddle, Stamping Ground and Eric (Kem) Friddle, Versailles; sister, Celeste (Mario) Toffolo, Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Kari (Adam) Lostocco, Kalyn (Alex) Mohn, Savannah Shepard, Shelby Shepard and Sadie Shepard; great grandchildren, Kameron and Karson Lostocco. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Woyak.
Services will be 11 AM Friday at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday.
