Obituary for Betty Lynn Adams

Betty Lynn Adams, 89, widow of John E. Adams Jr, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Born in Bourbon County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Cora Lee Franklin Fryman.

A charter member of Georgetown Church of the Nazarene, she was a wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Felicia Ann Adams (Vincent Lynn) Grimes, Teresa Sue Adams (Jamey) Stone, Darrell Lee Adams, John Enoch Adams, III, Philip Keith Adams, Ernie Thomas (Regina) Adams, Gary Dean (Sheryl) Adams, Gerald mark Adams, Billy Wayne (Janice) McCord and Floyd Douglas “Doug” (Mary Jo) McCord; step sons, Vernon Ray (Sue) Adams, Don Douglas Adams, Kelly Ken Adams; as well as 22+ grandchildren and 14+ great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lewis “Tootie” Adams; brothers, Mark Fryman Jr, Melvin Fryman, Bob Fryman, Bill Fryman and Buck Fryman; sister, Dorothy Baker, Helen Thomas, Dee Schutz and Virgie Parker.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday at Johnson’s Funeral Home, Georgetown, KY, conducted by Rev. Vernon Ray Adams. Burial will follow at the Clintonville Cemetery, Paris, KY. Casket bearers will be Dr. Benjamin Lyon, Troy Rankin, Chris Singer, Bobby Johnson, Lynn Hughes and J.P Lewis. Honorary bearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8PM Sunday at the funeral home.
