Obituary for Linda Sue Dickerson

Linda Sue Dickerson died peacefully at her home with her husband of 27 years Harry G. Dickerson. She was born in Maysville, KY 12/13/40; daughter of Raymond & Ruth Hawkins of Paris, KY. She was survived by her children Richard Andrew Mullikin, Cynthia Mullikin Barber and husband Will, & Chadwick Mullikin; she is the beloved grandmother of Molly, Margaret & Madison Barber, Alexandra, Luke, Spencer & Bridgette Mullikin, Braydon Dickerson and great grandmother of Brynn Maree Roy.

Linda enjoyed playing tennis, was a competitive bridge player and an avid UK Wildcat fan. She worked in tourism for the Visitors Center in Fredericksburg, VA, Toyota Manufacturing Visitors Center in Georgetown, The Scott County Board of Tourism and the KY Horse Park in Lexington. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity since 1954. She was a lover of horses, cats and her beloved dogs Abby, Beau, Lucy & Kelly. She attended and graduated from Garth School in Georgetown, Kentucky. After living in Fredericksburg, VA she returned back to Georgetown in 1991.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday at the Church of the Holy Trinity, conducted by The Rev. Karen W. Booth. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Pall bearers are Richard, Chad, Luke & Spencer Mullikin, Mike Dickerson and Will Barber. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time in the Parish Hall, behind the church, Thursday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Scott County Humane Society.
