Norvel Davis Cook, 80, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018. Born in Owenton, KY, he was the son of the late Arietta Switzer and Norvel Cook, SR.

A former environmental services employee with hospitals, he enjoyed being with family and karaoke.

He is survived by children, Cary Cook, Michael Cook, Patricia Butcher, Cindy Neace, Gale Ingram and Jeanne Morrison; step daughter, Melissa Lewis; sister, Mary McCreary; half sisters, Anna Mae Wiley and Sue Ann Cook; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James W. Lynn; half sister, Mary K. Lynn; half brother, Norvel Cook, Jr.

Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Friday at Georgetown Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Connie Jackson. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 PM Friday at Johnson’s Funeral Home.
