Gene Autrey Wiley, Sr, 71, husband of Anna Mae Wiley, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018. Born in Lincoln County, WV, he was the son of the late Warngie and Ruby Nelson Wiley.

A former machinist, he retired as a carrier with River City Carriers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, he is survived by his children, Lola Jean (James) Peak and Rubin Dale Wiley; sister, Virgie Dotson; brother, Charles Wile; grandchildren, James Peak, Jr, Timothy Peak, Billy Peak and Arianna Wiley; great grandchildren, Bryce Peak, Seth Peak, Brantley Peak, Bryson Beamon, Bradley Parker, Colton Peak, Trinity Peak and Abagail Peak. He was preceded death by his son, Gene Wiley, Jr; brother, Rubin Wiley; sister, Donna Gay Wiley; great grandchildren, Alexzander Peak and Amelia Beamon.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, May 24, 2018, conducted by Pastor Connie Jackson. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Dale Wiley, James Peak, Billy Peak, Timothy Peak, Paul Iseman and Jimmy Brandenburg. Visitation will be 10 AM till service time Thursday.
