Obituary for Angela Fox (Curtis)

Angela Curtis Fox, 46, wife of David Lee Fox, Jr, passed away Monday, June 4th, 2018. Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of Barbara Ann Curtis, Lexington and the late Michael Clyde Curtis. A graduate of Tates Creek High School, she received her degree in Education from Eastern Kentucky University. She was a chemistry teacher and Beta Club sponsor. A former Girl Scout leader, youth cheerleading coach and current baseball and cheerleading mom, she was a member and former children’s choir teacher at Georgetown Baptist Church. In addition to her mother and her husband of 20 years, she is survived by her children, Lauren Ashley Fox, Jordan Lee Fox and Trent David Fox; brother, Michael Paul (Jamie) Curtis; nieces and nephews, Ally Curtis, Isabel Curtis and Michael Wayne Curtis, Emily Fox, Megan Fox, Courtney Fox, Chloe Purdon; and in-laws, David L. and Sheila Fox. Visitation will be Thursday, June 7th, from 5 to 9pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, June 8th at Georgetown Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Steve Price. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Micah Emmons, Michael Wayne Curtis, Tim Fox, Jeremy Fox, Allen Fox, Tristan Fox, Benji Holleran, and Chris Holleran. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Ronald McDonald House, 1300 Sports Center Drive, Lexington, Kentucky, 40502.
