Obituary for Mary Lou Kristoff

Mary Lou Kristoff, born June 17, 1927, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Kristoff and daughter-in-law, Beverly of Georgetown, KY; grandsons, Ryan Kristoff, Georgetown and Justin Kristoff, Nicholasville; great grandson, Chandler Kristoff and great granddaughter, Isabella Kristoff, both of Nicholasville, KY; nieces and nephews, Dennis and Debbie Pedone of Nicholasville, KY, Byron and Janel Noll of Carmel, IN, Roberta Schultz of Wilmington, IL, Les and Jeannie Konicki of Oswego, IL, Gene and Denise Climer of Lemont, IL; sisters-in-law Violet Kristoff of Schererville, IN and Sandy Pedone of Zionsville, IN; as well as numerous cousins in Warrensburg, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Kristoff of DeMotte, IN; son Terry Kristoff of Kalamazoo, MI and sister, Elsie Thomas of Merrillville, IN.

Mary and Jim Kristoff were on the mission field in Second Mesa and Keams Canyon, AZ and Farmington, NM and worked with the Hopi and Navajo Indians for several years. In addition, Mary wrote children and adult articles for the Union Gospel Press in Cleveland, OH for over a decade.
Mary also helped her husband Jim with his radio ministry which is on-going in Nashville, TN and reaches Africa, England, Canada, Philippines, the Caribbean Islands, Louisiana, Maine, Washington DC and New Hampshire.

Mary was also very active doing Bible studies every Thursday at Hometown Manor in Georgetown with her son Ron and was a substitute Sunday School Teacher at Georgetown Baptist Church.

Every year she sent out a special Christmas poem from her heart to all of her friends and relatives.
Mary relocated to Georgetown from DeMotte, IN in 2010 after her husband Jim passed away. She was a humble servant and always did her best in whatever her role was, not wanting any credit for her but for Jesus. She was a faithful prayer partner and a witness to many people over the past 90 years of her life. She will be missed by many family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday at Georgetown Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Alan Redditt. Burial will be at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 1:30 PM. Pallbearers will be Ron Kristoff, Justin Kristoff, Ryan Kristoff, Wayne Brantley and Dennis Pedone. Visitation will be 9:30 AM till service time.
