Obituary for William Ronald "Bill" Perrett

William “Bill” Ronald Perrett, 86, husband of Shirley (Bowman) Perrett of Georgetown and Stuart, Florida, passed away Thursday, July 5th, 2018. He was born October 24th, 1931 in McCook, Nebraska, son of the late William L. and Lillian (Johnson) Perrett. Bill served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Georgetown First United Methodist Church and was an avid golfer. Bill was a former pilot and loved to fly even when he was young. In addition to his wife of thirty six years, Bill is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Doug Renfro) Turner; two sons, James (Deborah) Perrett and William (Karen) Perrett; two step-sons, Keith (Lisa) Crupper and Allen (Ashley) Crupper; eleven grandchildren, Katie Davis, Dan Turner, Clay Turner, Ross Perrett, Jake Perrett, Ben Perrett, Travis Perrett, Kelsey Perrett, Kyle Crupper, Rachael Crupper and Case Crupper; several great-grandchildren; his sister, Karen (Sam) Cracraft. Visitation will be Sunday, July 8th, from 4pm to 7pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday at 1pm with Reverend Greg Gallaher officiating at Johnson’s Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Georgetown Cemetery with full military honors provided by The American Legion Post #24. Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Crupper, Ted Lucas, Jason Carpenter, Larry Jones, Sam Cracraft, John Crupper, Jim Perrett and Kyle Crupper. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Keith Crupper, Tim Carpenter, Carl Pursel, Neale Hall, Dean Carpenter and Fred Mitchell.
