Chester G. Hager, 75, widower of Peggy Ann (Jones) Hager, passed away Wednesday, September 26th, 2018. He was born August 15th, 1943, son of the late Luther and Bertha (Young) Hager. Chester retired from Hager & Sons Home Improvements. He loved to be with his grandchildren and his companion “Little Bit”. Chester enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and collecting antique clocks and coins. Chester is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Joe Simms; eight grandchildren, Kristy Ann (Bryan) Sharp, Rashe Simms, Timothy Hager, Chuck (Marlena) Hager, Keith (Mackenzie) Hager, Anthony (Amanda) Hager, Rachal (Justin) Larkins and Jeramey Hager; eighteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Roland. In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by two sons, Randall T. Hager and Timothy A. Hager; one grandson, Joey Simms; eleven brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Monday, October 1st, from 5 to 8pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, where services will be held on Tuesday at 1pm with Pastor David Calvert officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Sharp, Tommy Wright, Keith Hager, Chuck Hager, Timothy Hager and Mike Scheibel.
