Obituary for Harry Willis Lewis

Harry Willis Lewis, 65, passed away Monday, October 15th, 2018. He was born November 26th, 1952 in Georgetown, Kentucky, son of the late Harry Lee and Emily (Willis) Lewis. Harry served in the United States Army. He was a member of Wayman Chapel Methodist Church and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Harry is survived by his companion of forty-two years, Joyce Nichols; three daughters, Katrina Shanelle (Keith) Lewis Garrett, Tarita Jones and Shannon Nichols; one son, Harry (Janesha) Nichols Jr.; eight grandchildren, Jalen Brent, Lakeithia Garrett, Jervon Christopher, Audriana Christopher, Montago Jones Jr., Logan Jones, Sequoia Nichols and Kansas Nichols; three great-grandchildren; six sisters, Sandra Lewis, Betty Williams, Phyllis (Duwaun) Jackson, Emily (Larry) Williams, Judith (Steve) Washington and Judy (Rocky) Hawkins; five brothers, James Madison (JoAnn) Lewis, Keith (Tina) Lewis, Tony (Sicerea) Lewis, Russell Lewis and Carl (Daphane) Lewis. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Kathy Lewis and one brother-in-law, Andy Williams. Visitation will be Saturday, October 20th at First Baptist Church from 11am until time of service at Noon. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Harry’s nephews will service as pallbearers.
