Dear Family, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. My sincere condolences to you. May you think of the many beautiful memories that you shared with , and cherish those precious moments. May the God of all comfort caress your heart with his living promise to one day reunite you together again, in the future paradise mentioned at Revelation 21:4,5. Our Dear Heavenly Father Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) knows the many tears you cry, and He will sustain you, if you let him. I hope that you can find comfort during this difficult time. If you would like to learn more from the bible about why we die or why does our loving Heavenly Father allow so much suffering and injustice, please feel free to go to to find satisfying answers.

I am Jackie Davis Diatikar Hardeman, the daughter of Sammy Joyce Patton Davis. She is still living and is 92 years old. She lived with James and Reva when John Logan was born. She stayed with Reva to take care of her and John Logan. She says that he was tongue tied when he was born and some time passed and discussion occurred before they realized his problem. When he was taken to doctor, the tongue was clipped and Mom says there was only one drop of blood from the cut. They had lots of fun watching him move his tongue and make faces and sounds after the surgery. I have heard her tell of living with James and Reva and helping with John Logan many times. She speaks of Burlen Ross (sp?) as well. Warm thoughts for the part of my family that I do not know but my mother loved so dearly.
