Johnny was such a kind and gentle man. His brother Sammy, sister Alice, and mother Mattie welcomed us with open arms when mom and Sammy married. I treasure the many Saturday nights spent with the entire Lucas family, the adults playing poker while the kids were having their own fun. I'm sending my love to the Lucas's. I wish I could be there to hug each and every one of you.

Please accept our condolences. We were Johnny's neighbors for 14 years and just moved a little over a year ago; we thought a lot of him. He was very kind to our entire family. He always had the nicest yard in the neighborhood, and we often asked his advice on our landscaping. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Thoughtfully, The Bennett's - Mike, Lynda, Olivia, and Lyndsay
