James Lee Decker Sr., 74, husband of Carolyn (Foster) Decker, passed away Sunday, March 3rd, 2019. He was born on April 1st, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky, son of the late James Elmer and Katherine (Fowler) Decker. James served in the United States Army and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. He was the owner of Jay’s Body Shop, Classic Auto Sales and D&H Service Center. In addition to his beloved wife of forty-nine years, James is survived by his three daughters, Katherine (Andy) Loar, Jennifer (Geoff) Teets and Jamie (Lance) Burch; his four sons, Jim (Linda) Decker, Jay Decker Jr., Dennis Decker and Joseph Decker; ten grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lockwood, Hannah Decker, Hayley Lockwood, Ryan Loar, Emilee Lockwood, Ethan Lockwood, Alexa Loar, Jordan Burch, Jenna Teets and Allison Burch; three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday at St. John’s Catholic Church from Noon until time of The Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm with Father Linh Nguyen officiating.
