Wanda Clara (Barrett) Brandenburg, 75, widow of Donnie “Don’ Brandenburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 12th, 2019. She was born August 4th, 1943 in Owsley County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Dailey and Lila (Reynolds) Barrett. Wanda was a Lifetime Member of the Seven Star Gambling Club. She was the life of the family and her goal in life was to see that her children and grandchildren were taken care of and happy. Wanda is survived by one daughter, Elisa (Fred) Barto; her son Ricky (Julie) Wolfinbarger; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy Brandenburg, Ellen (Lewis) Hudson and Betty (Bobby) Burge; three brothers, Kenny (Mary) Barrett, Wayne Barrett and Charles Barrett. In addition to her husband and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Nielson; one sister, Barbara Bobaturk; one brother, Robert Barrett; one sister-in-law, Judy Barrett; one brother-in-law, Jessie Brandenburg. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 17th from 2 to 5pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, where services will be held on Monday at Noon. Burial will be at Midway Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Wolfinbarger, Jimmy Wolfinbarger, Ricky Wolfinbarger II, Brandon Lockhart, Bobby Burge, Michael Brown, Jimmy Dean Gillian.
