Roderic “Rod” H. Richardson, 72, husband of Linda J. (Hoinoski) Richardson, passed away on Saturday, April 13th, 2019. He was born on November 15th, 1946, in Springfield, Vermont, son of the late Waldo Basil and Georgia Ella (Gage) Richardson. Rod loved anything to do with cars or car shows and he enjoyed roller skating when he was able. Rod was a machine tool operator for J&L Machine Company and had been a truck driver with Webster Trucking, he built homes with his brother when he was a teenager and he was a licensed cosmetologist. In addition to his beloved wife, Rod is survived by his daughter, Kristi Richardson and his step-daughter Robin Miller; one step-son, Wayne A. (Krista) Miller Jr.; four step-grandchildren, Timothy W. Miller, Alexander J. Miller, Kaitlyn T. Miller and Matthew C. Miller; three sisters, Rebecca Leeland, Paula Dana and Sharon Crossman; three brothers, Glenn Richardson, Daniel Richardson and Gareth Richardson; several additional dear family members and friends. Besides his parents, Rod was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Richardson; four sisters, Georgia Marine, Betty Thompson, Elsie English and Bunny Rowley; three brothers, Urban Richardson, Walter Richardson and Allen Richardson. There will be a Celebration Of Life Memorial visitation on Tuesday, April 23rd from 4 to 7pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home.
