Obituary for Betty Joyce Collins
Betty Joyce Dewes Collins, 73, widow of Daniel Lee Collins, SR, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Born in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Edna Lucille Robinson Dewes.
A dedicated mother and wife, Betty was tireless in support of her family and later passionate about time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Mary Frances Collins and Daniel Lee Collins, Jr; grandchildren, Samantha (Jeff) Wilson, Daniel Collins III and Athena Collins; sisters, Jan Walker, Jackie Warren and Paulette Conrad.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday at Johnson’ s Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Tim Turner. Burial will follow in the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Daniel Collins, Jr, Jeff Wilson, Daniel Collins III, Tim Moss, Jody Courtney and Jamie Hampton. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time.
