Buford Wayne Reynolds, 74, passed away on Wednesday, April 24th, 2019. He was born on November 21st, 1944 in Scott County, Kentucky, son of the late Cecil Mason and Vera C. (Dews) Reynolds. Wayne served in the United States Army and had been a Production Member at Johnson Control. He loved to fish and hunt when he was able. Wayne is survived by his devoted companion, Dorothy Jane (Remaley) Bisbee; his daughter, Jeania (David) Burge; his son, David Wayne Reynolds; two granddaughters, Samantha and Ashley Burge; two great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Adalynn Burge; one sister, Evelyn Louise Reynolds Williamson; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews in North Carolina. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Florence Games and Frances Ann Atkinson; one brother, Billy Mason Reynolds. Visitation will be on Monday, April 29th from 5 to 8pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home, where services will be held on Tuesday at 1pm. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery with full Military Honors provided by The American Legion Post 24 Honor Guard. Serving as pallbearers will be David Burge, James Williamson, Shane House, Daniel Burge, Paul Brown, Wayne Gillispie, Tommy Barnhill and Ronny Conrad. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be David Reynolds and Johnny Treadway.
